Boozy Hot Cocoa Bombs

Since Hot Cocoa Bombs are all the rage right now, we found a way to fill them with booze!

  • First, melt some chocolate chips and pour a small amount into silicone molds. Coat all sides of the molds, but don’t fill them entirely. Save room for the cocoa filling.
  • Then, stick those molds into the fridge to allow the chocolate to harden.

What you’ll need for the filling:

  • In a small saucepan, heat up some milk to a simmer, and then mix in the cocoa mix and the gelatin.
  • Once the gelatin is mixed, cut the heat and let cool for about 5 minutes.
  • Then, add in the booze (amounts listed in images above), stir, and let cool five minutes more.
  • Pour filling into hardened chocolate molds and then place back in the fridge to set.
  • Once your gelatin is set, melt more chocolate to seal the filling inside the mold.
  • Spread a thin layer of chocolate over the top of the gelatin, and then place it back in the fridge.
  • Once the top layer of chocolate has hardened, pop the cocoa bombs out of the molds… carefully.
  • Then, place into a mug, top with some hot milk, stir, and enjoy.
  • If you bomb needs more ammunition, top in an extra .5 oz of Nirvana, .5 oz of Cafe Granita Cold Brew, and .25 oz of Jim Beam Vanilla for an added kick.

Cheers!
